Hair Care Guide

Thank you for choosing Couture Crowns. Our 100% raw, single-donor hair is an investment in lasting luxury. With proper care and maintenance, your hair can remain beautiful for 5+ years.

Washing Your Hair

Wash your hair every 1–2 weeks, or as needed, using a sulfate-free shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. Gently cleanse the hair in a downward motion and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Deep Conditioning

Deep condition your hair at least twice per month to restore moisture, softness, and shine. If you heat style frequently, we recommend deep conditioning weekly.

Drying

Gently blot excess water with a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt. Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible. If using a blow dryer, apply a heat protectant and use a low to medium heat setting.

Heat Styling

Our raw hair can be straightened, curled, and styled with hot tools. Always apply a heat protectant before using heat and avoid excessive temperatures to help maintain the hair’s longevity.

Coloring

Couture Crowns hair can be professionally colored, toned, or bleached. For the best results, we recommend having all chemical services performed by a licensed professional.

Daily Maintenance

Brush or comb the hair gently from the ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Avoid pulling or tugging on the hair, especially when wet.

Sleeping

Before bed, loosely braid or wrap your hair in a silk or satin scarf or bonnet. Sleeping on a silk or satin pillowcase also helps reduce friction and preserve moisture.

Swimming

Before swimming, wet the hair with clean water and apply a leave-in conditioner. After swimming, rinse the hair thoroughly to remove chlorine or saltwater.

Storage

When not in use, store your extensions in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the hair is clean and completely dry before storing.

  • Detangle gently before washing.
  • Schedule regular maintenance if wearing sewn-in extensions.
